PB17-Ultra R|Evolution - Piano Gloss Black - Outlet

I recently tried dual SB17 Ultras and in my room I wasn't happy with them. Don't get me wrong, they are amazing speakers, but they didn't sound how I was expecting. I exchanged them for dual PB17 Ultras and oh my god are they perfect. I tested them in ported, extended and sealed modes, and funny enough, sealed sounds and measures the best. No boom-iness or muddy bass, just hard hitting clear bass that matches my Martin Logan Motion towers perfectly. I've now watched about 10 movies on the PB17s and have not been disappointed for even a second. Not only would I recommend these to anyone interested, but I've also owned dial PB1000s and PB3000s, and both pairs of those were amazing too. The PB1000s I had in my previous house and the room they were in was less than half the size of my current space, so they were perfect and I never needed anything else. The current space is fairly large (~1k sq ft w/ 8ft ceiling) so I upgraded to the PB3000s 3yrs ago. They were also great but I wanted a little more kick. Don't get me wrong, those already shook the entire house (even our deck outside) so they hit hard, but the PB17s really kick you in the chest. Whatever fits your room, needs and budget, SVS has you covered.

And I have to shout out the SVS Customer Service Department. They guided me through the upgrade process and gave me a prorated amount for my PB3000s, helped me purchase and return the SB17s and then created a new upgrade proposal for the PB17s. I can only rave about how…
