Inspired Design, Reference Performance.

Time Aligned Cabinet Geometry

Curved front baffle aligns the sonic emanation point of the tweeter and woofer on a vertical plane ensuring sound from each driver reaches your ears at the exact same instant.

Maximizes phase coherence for a more convincing and immersive soundstage with pinpoint accuracy and imaging.

Diamond Coated Aluminum Dome Tweeter

Through a process called Vapor Deposition, a layer of diamond carbon is applied to the aluminum dome tweeters to vastly improve rigidity and acoustic properties.

This breakthrough in material science raises the frequency response well beyond the limits of human hearing resulting in effortless, airy, and unveiled highs with no measurable distortion.

The diamond coating also pushes low frequency extension of the tweeter deeper for more seamless blending with the midrange.

Organic cell lattice tweeter diffuser protects the dome and employs semi-random pattern derived from organic cell structures to improve off-axis response and maximize the listening “sweet spot.”

6.5" Glass Fiber Composite Mid-Woofer

Superb stiffness to mass ratio conveys stunning dynamics with flawless tonal accuracy, and deep, accurate bass.

Unrelenting Attention to Detail

Acoustically tuned enclosure optimizes low frequency tuning and eliminates any potential for cabinet resonances, resulting in pristine sound across the frequency spectrum.

Uncompromising 2-Way crossover with premium components seamlessly blends driver output. Subtle musical details are rendered with breathtaking clarity, while massive dynamics radiate with weight and control from the highest to lowest octaves.

Precision-cast aluminum-alloy baskets ensure precise alignment of critical components and maximize thermal dissipation.

Chamfered front baffle minimizes edge diffraction for optimal off-axis frequency response.

Driver Specs:

1” Diamond Coated Tweeter

  • FEA-optimized Organic Cell Lattice Diffuser for airy, unveiled highs and pristine clarity.
  • Cutting-edge vapor-deposition grows a hyper-rigid diamond-like coating on an aircraft-grade aluminum dome, pushing high-frequency extension further beyond human hearing, and delivering best-in-class fidelity, linearity, and transient response.
  • Silver tinsel leads for optimal signal transfer and power handling.

6.5” Woofer:

  • Long stroke motor and suspension for high output.
  • Composite glass-fiber cone with excellent stiffness/mass ratio for high sensitivity and pistonic behavior beyond passband.
  • Precision-cast aluminum alloy baskets ensure precise alignment of critical components and maximize thermal dissipation.
  • Vented aluminum voice coil former to maximize thermal control while minimizing air compression artifacts at high drive levels.

Crossover & Cabinet Specs:

Crossover:

  • 2-way crossover with premium-grade capacitors, inductors, resistors, and heavy-trace printed circuit board
  • Tweeter-to-Woofer crossover: 1.8 kHz

Cabinet:

  • Time-aligned cabinet geometry introduces microsecond-level time delays between the drivers, ensuring that the effective-acoustic-center of each driver is equidistant from the listener.   The result is improved linearity and directionality throughout the crossover frequencies, and a more accurate soundstage.
  • Chamfered front baffle and flush-mounted drivers reduce edge diffraction and improve on-axis and off-axis high-frequency response.
  • Extra-thick 1” (25mm) driver baffle ensures a rigid, resonance-free mounting for all drivers.
  • FEA-optimized ¾” (18mm) cabinet construction, bracing, and acoustic insulation eliminate acoustic and structural resonances, ensuring an inert enclosure and an uncolored response, even at the highest drive levels.

These speakers definitely perform above their price range. If this is your budget, don’t hesitate and try them at for yourself risk free. I certainly did and was extremely surprised at the detail and soundstage from these SVS bookshelves.

    Upgrade after 14 years

Having owned my previous atmos home theater system which included towers, I knew I wanted the same impact (sans the bass from integrated subwoofers on my old speakers) but with a more elegant look and more placement flexibility. I bought these speakers as my LCR replacements as they fit my budget with some reservation. The clarity and sound stage that comes out of these speakers is absolutely incredible. Paired with my new 3000 micro Revolution subwoofer and ultra evolution center channel, my room comes ALIVE! Well done SVS!

    Beautiful Speakers but,

Never got to listen to them; they were to be surround speakers. I also got the Sanus stands for them to mount on, but SVS does not have any mounting holes on the bottom to fasten them to the stands. Makes it too easy to have someone knock the speakers off the stands; please re-think this, I don't think I am the only one that would like some nut serts on the bottom.

Ultra Evolution Bookshelf and Prime Wire Pro Soundbase

I have been listening to countless bookshelf speakers (Kef, Bowers and Wilkins, Martin and Logan, and Klipsch) over the past few months and have really enjoyed this set up. I have been super impressed with the acoustic guitars tracks, piano, and male and female voices. They are pronounced without being fatiguing and almost enough bass to make me briefly consider not adding a subwoofer. The Soundbase has plenty of power, was super easy to set up, but would have liked to have seen some tone control or crossover adjustments, so I could filter out the lower bass on the tracks that require a real subwoofer. The price for both smashed the competition and offered more bang for the buck that what I expected. Now I just want t bigger SVS amp to run the Pinnacles that are on my horizon.

    Ultra Evolution Bookshelf

I have a challenging room for home theater, with vaulted ceilings and an open loft area that make it difficult to achieve clear, balanced sound. I tried several different speaker combinations and eventually settled on an SVS Prime Center with Prime Satellites. It sounded good, but after upgrading my receiver from a Sony to a Denon X4800H, I realized the front soundstage was the limiting factor.

I then upgraded my front left and right speakers from Prime Satellites to Ultra Evolution Bookshelf speakers, and the improvement was immediately noticeable. While the Prime Satellites performed well, two-channel music always sounded a bit thin through the middle. The Ultra Evolution Bookshelf speakers filled out the soundstage beautifully, producing a rich, full-bodied presentation that transformed both music and movies.

The Ultra Evolutions also have a warmer, smoother top end that complements my room much better than the Prime Satellites. Paired with my dual SB-2000 Pro subwoofers, the integration is seamless, creating a balanced, dynamic sound with excellent clarity and impact. The entire front stage now sounds effortless and immersive.
