    A good system.

    I have a Denon AVR3700 driving these speakers. They sound great but not sure if the receiver is providing enough power. The towers seem to want more. The louder they go the better they are. But they do seem to be held back. The bass response is great but the high end (tweeters) don't provide enough response for my taste. But overall these are good speakers.

    Ultra Tower Surround

    Still working these out, but definitely impressed. I can't wait until I get the power I need to run everything, but happy with what I have for now.

    Beautiful, inside and out !

    I’ve had my Ultra system for 1 week now and can say without hesitation that my home theater has finally reached its full potential. The vale has been lifted and these Ulra’s deliver a crystal clear and engaging sound experience. All of the hype turned out to be true! On day one after I set them up, I showed them to my wife, she stated they were so beautiful, they reminded her of fine jewelry. She jokingly said that she wished SVS made a tiny version of them because they would make great looking earrings!

    Maybe she’s on to something… SVS ? : )

    $30,000 speakers vs SVS Ultra setup

    It took me a while to get to writing this review. Reason being, I wanted to write a review only after I've spent some decent time with these speakers. I've listened to a variety of music, watched several movies, toed-them-in and again, and again.... and again until I've got them to perfect.

    SVS Ultras had a difficult task to get to the perfect state. They had to compete with a full pipe organ (yeah, the Cathedral sized one) that was truly mesmerizing to hear and a set of $30k speakers in a treated room with cables as thick as my arm. Well, guess what? They DELIVERED! They delivered in all categories. I was able to reproduce the pipe organ music to a point when people listen, they have goose-bumps; when bass kicks in, pretty much everyone drops their jaw and says, "wow". They delivered when compared to 30k speakers. I know, I know, some sceptics are probably rolling their eyes right about now. Sorry to disappoint, but it is true and Ultras are that good. Here is another bit... those 30k speakers were set up in a high-end music store, treated room, fancy-looking thick cables, super nice DAC with loseles Qobuz audio, the whole 9-yards... vs what I have at home in an unfinished basement in a less than optimal space. And even then, SVS Ultras were on par and sounded as good and at times better.

    I don't know what sorcery, fairy dust or unicorn-horn made tweeters SVS uses in their engineering/production cycle, but these speakers are simply brilliant. Perhaps the $1,299.99…
