Stunningly Potent 13.5-Inch Down Firing SVS Ultra Driver

Equally matched for music and home theater, the PC13-Ultra powered subwoofer boasts a 13.5-inch down-firing Ultra Series driver with dual high-grade ferrite magnets and an FEA-optimized motor for distortion-free performance at the most punishing drive levels. Dual linear-roll spiders and stitched parabolic surround allow the PC13-Ultra to move massive amounts of air and achieve extreme excursion capabilities while maintaining control over the ultra-light and rigid fiberglass composite cone, so it can start and stop on a dime with no overhang, even with the most challenging music tracks.

Powerful and Sophisticated Sledge STA-1000D Amplifier

Conservatively rated at 1,000 watts RMS and 3,200 watts peak power, the Sledge STA-1000D DSP amplifier inside the PC13-Ultra subwoofer delivers effortless power for maximum SPLs and sonic impact in movies and music, while maintaining pinpoint accuracy in frequency and transient response. It also has brains to match its brawn. A sophisticated DSP offers an array of filters and volume, gain, and phase controls for fine-tuning in-room performance. Plus, the efficient Class-D amplifier design consumes less than half-a-watt of power in stand-by mode.

Variable Port Tuning

Rated at 15-200 HZ +/- 3dB, the PC13-Ultra subwoofer features variable port tuning so you can adjust output and extension based on listening preferences. For connections, the home theater subwoofer features a stereo line-level RCA and balanced XLR input/output connections along with an 80Hz high pass filtered output connections, continuously variable volume and phase controls, and three top-firing 3.5-inch high-flow flared ports with large radius inner and outer flanges.

Effortless power and extreme low frequency extension without sacrificing detail or musicality, the SVS PC13-Ultra cylinder subwoofer delivers greater output per inch of floorspace than any traditional ported box subwoofer in existence. Musical bass is rendered with delicate refinement and toe-tapping aplomb while movie soundtracks are unleashed with chest-thumping slam and impact as well as mood-setting low frequency effects, all from a subwoofer that blends seamlessly with any speakers.

    You Can't Touch this!!!

    Can't Touch This! That's what I think about when I read about other Brands out there to buy. I can't find one for the price that can touch this PC13-ULTRA even after 2 years of owning this Sub I'm just amazed at the thump! Our music has never sounded so good. When your wife of 40 years says why in the Hell didn't I find this years ago just after one song of hers I played after getting all the SVS speakers hooked up and threw her favorite album on the turn table in-which I love also, Physical Graffiti "Kashmir" When it started hitting and the wood floor started shaking under her feet I knew I was saved! The sub is , well no other way but to say Great. Yes people I can't thank Ed enough from SVS for getting me lined out on a complete line-up of their SVS Prime line of speakers which for my room size of 22'-6" long X 15'-4 " wide and 8 foot ceiling I just am blowed away by how great the PC13 ULTRA Sub sets the whole room off. I could go on about movies' and such but they changed over to the 4000 series of this sub and you can't go wrong there either. Just a Great Sub that will knock your socks off and as for me my wife loves that I finally have a great system for us to rock away the days and nights.

    PC 13-Ultra Love

    I've owned the PC 13-Ultra for almost a month and I absolutely love it! It blends extremely well with the others speakers in my 7.4.3 setup. It never seems to run out of power no matter how much it is pushed. It completely pressurizes my listening room, routinely knocks books off of the shelves, scares the crap out of my girlfriend when things explode and I'm fearful that it may someday damaged the floor joists! When watching Tron Legacy and Sam Flynn materializes on the GRID for the first time, half of my home shakes; and when the ships fly by my floors rumble violently!!! The opening scene in The Edge of Tomorrow is handled with ease and is presented like a Jack-hammer banging upon the foundation of my home. As for music the subwoofer takes on a very mature and totally integrated appearance and strengthens the overall experience. Never dominant but always powerful. By far the best subwoofer that I've ever owned and I am looking forward to adding the PC-4000 when it becomes available. If you are hesitant about buying this subwoofer, don't be. You will NOT be disappointed!!! PS: The PC 13-Ultra has been replaced by the PC-4000 and I'm 100% confident that it will surpass the performance of the PC 13-Ultra.

    WOOOWWWW!!!

    These are by far the best Subwoofers I have ever heard or seen. I have been using them for one week now and they are literally a night and day difference from what I have been used to. I previously had dual subs from two differnt companies, the Polk PSW 111 and the JBL Base2/Basswave. I always felt that I was missing listening content in my music and movies but all of the stores locally that sold home subwoofers didn’t offer anything that pushed me to purchase any new ones. About four months ago I began looking into subwoofers online and ran across SVS. I did a ton of research and spoke with the SVS experts via text message. With their 45 day in home trial I finally decided to make the commitment and purchase the dual Ultra PC13’s. SVS will not be getting these back! Immediately I fell in love with the look of them and once connected,,,,, I’m hearing things in my music and movies that I never knew was there. I’m still playing around with the proper settings but “WOOOWWWW!!!” I love ‘em. Once you purchase these you won’t be able to go back, it’s the equivalent of first learning to drive, you never intentionally go back to walking everywhere. Awesome Subs!!!

    Quality sub

    I'm very happy with the pc13 ultra. Upgraded from a pc2000 and had a very noticeable difference. Not just in power but to my ears there seems to be a better tonality overall. The only downside is now all my dishes vibrate and shake in kitchen. This sub is worth the investment.
